About LVNDR's PrEP service
LVNDR is creating an app which will connect queer folks to LGBTQ+ informed healthcare, remotely. We are launching our services with PrEP.
“PrEP” stands for “Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis”. PrEP is a type of medication taken to prevent the transmission of HIV. All queer folk at risk of contracting HIV should have seamless access to it. Whilst it is reported that 1/8 LGBTQ+ people avoid seeking healthcare for fear of discrimination, we know the numbers are much larger.
LVNDR is here to fight for inclusive sexual healthcare that provides queer folks with services without judgment. More is to come, but we’re starting with a remote PrEP service to prove the value of a specialised LGBTQ+ service.
